MCDC Background Information
The MCDC works frequently with other development agencies, private entities and government bodies to assist local economic development efforts. The funds are usually lent and/or granted in combination with funds from other grantor or lending sources. The monies are typically granted/lent to the MCDC with a specific job creation objective. The MCDC does have reserves and funds that have been revolved and are now unrestricted that can assist in programming and other community development efforts.
